In 2004 we traded our 5 Star Interval affiliated Treetops Village at Four Season, Missouri to WorldMark, Depoe Bay, Oregon. We live in Minnesota and had relatives and friends to visit on our travels from Minnesota to Oregon, so we decided to drive. It was a great trip.

Since we only own two bedroom timeshare units, we always request an exchange to two bedroom units. We own two deeded timeshare weeks. One was given to us and another we purchased through the Internet at a substantial savings.

You've heard the saying, "First impressions," haven't you?
Well, Depoe Bay was everything we expected and more. The picture WorldMark has of Depoe Bay in the Interval International directory is exactly what we saw. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean. A "Dream Vacation", something we would never have done without owning timeshare.

What made it even more enjoyable was having our daughter and son-in-law and our grandson join us. Our youngest daughter also flew out to be with us. A whole week of being together. Having accommodations like this makes life more fun, particularly when family members can join us.

We all agreed to share the special meals prepared in the evenings when were together, each person being responsible for one of the meals. Our son-in-law, a chef with a love for fresh seafood, made a trip to the local fresh fishmarket to get supplies for the meal he prepared. Wow! Fantastic.

One whole glass wall of the living room condo was facing the ocean. We could hear the waves and watch the whales during the day from the living room and the balcony. At night we had the fireplace to add that magic touch while the waves splashed against the rocks below our balcony.

There was lots of activity, summer events, going in the towns surrounding Depoe Bay and we took advantage of all we could in the time we were there. The town near us was having an International Kite Event. What an amazing sight to see the kites flying, synchronized to the music.

We would recommend Depoe Bay to anyone wanting a 5-Star vacation by the ocean. You will never regret a week spent at Depoe Bay.
