W0W!!! What a vacation we had!!

For this vacation week we traded our Minnesota Village at Izaty's timeshare. www.thevillageatizatys.com

A week high above and over looking Lake Tahoe at http://www.ridgetahoeresort.com/. Another of many fabulous 5-Star resort vacations, affiliated with the Interval International resort exchange systems.

This resort is adjacent to Heavenly Ski Resort above Lake Tahoe. The view is awesome overlooking Lake Tahoe. Underground parking, and elevators to your time share unit. Two bedrooms suites, washer and dryers, huge kitchen facilities and a beautiful fireplace for those cool mountain evenings.

Without going down the mountain to Stateline, Nevada, this resort offers tennis courts, swimming pools, a private ski gondola, racquetball, spa and saunas, steam room, whirlpools, a deli, convenience store, a theater, a business center, and transportation to the nearby Stateline casinos.

Although we did spend a little time at a couple of casinos, what made this week really special was spending time with our son and his wife who flew in to spend time with us. It was great. We went horseback riding in the mountains and enjoyed a fabulous meal aboard a paddle wheel boat on Lake Tahoe. We also sailed on a 40 to 50 person catamaran, also on Lake Tahoe. One interesting morning was when we visited the famous Ponderosa Ranch and had a pancake breakfast with ranch cowboys at the end of a hayride which took us to the top of the mountain. This was another vacation that we would never have had without owning a timeshare.

We would highly recommend The Ridge Tahoe Resort at Stateline, Nevada.
