Izaty's Resort In Northern Minnesota

From what I have been able to find out the famous Izaty's Resort in Northern Minnesota was purchased at auction by another golf course owner but was annulled by the Judge for some reason.

The timeshare owners who own at this resort are secure in the ownership of their timeshare property but if they intend to use the resort facilities it will not be possible this 2008 summer season.

Even though the timeshare owners Association and the timeshare units are separate from Izaty's resort and the Association keeps their units in a 5 star classification with Interval International, there will not be much to do at the resort facilities, which is in bankruptcy.

As far as I know the Izaty's Clubhouse, the indoor and outdoor pools,and the golf courses will not be ready for this '08 season.

This is really a sad state of affairs. The golf courses are excellent, the marina is very nice but the current situation is unclear for 2008 summer activities.

We hope it gets sold to a major chain or resort soon.
