People taking their children with them on a timeshare vacation should ensure they start preparations early if they are to keep their kids happy on the way, an expert asserts.
Gary Pope, managing director of Kids Industries, who is working with Stena Line, says that those journeys which involve a lot of time spent in the car are the most crucial to make enjoyable for the young ones.
While parents travelling on a timeshare vacation should start planning with their children a few weeks ahead of the journey, they should also prepare a secret stock of surprises, he advises.
He states: "Three absolute musts to have with you on a car holiday are the children's favourite toys or cuddly toy, colouring books and a secret supply of mini-surprises."
Mr Pope says that these can be used as and when the journey gets tedious or the children in the back seat begin arguing.
In other news, Chris Keates, UK teachers union NASUWT's general secretary, recently stated that his organisation was opposed to parents taking their children out of the classroom in term time to go on timeshare vacations, as education should remain a priority.
