Take A Virtual Vacation On YouTube With “Vacation With Timeshare”

In an effort to share the enthusiasm, stunning locations and comfortable accommodations of timeshare resorts, the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) unveiled a “next best thing to being there” video on www.YouTube.com. The short video titled, “Vacation With Timeshare” shows real-life timeshare owners sharing their personal experiences on why they view timeshare as a better way to vacation.

“Many vacationers haven’t had the opportunity to visit or stay in a timeshare resort,” said Howard Nusbaum, President and CEO of ARDA. “This video captures the sentiment of actual owners who explain what owning their vacation has done for them – enhancing family time and overall vacation enjoyment.”

While couples, families and friends discuss the value of building lasting memories together as they visit exciting destinations and are surrounded by all the creature comforts of home, viewers get facts such as:

* There are more than 5,000 vacation ownership resorts throughout the world.
* Approximately 4.4 million households enjoy an interest in vacation ownership.
* 74 percent of timeshare owners say their participation has had a positive impact on their lives.
* Vacation ownership provides for more than 565,000 jobs.
* Timeshare resort owners pay approximately $8.5 billion in tax revenue each year.

More information about vacation ownership, or timeshare, is available by contacting ARDA at (202) 371-6700 or by visiting www.arda.org.
