Are First Day Time Share Offers Real, or a Scam?

First Day Time Share Offers.

Real or Not? After 14 years and hundreds of time share tours this closing technique works. Obviously, it creates pressure at the end of the presentation, on the customer, to make a decision to purchase on the first visit.

When I first started selling time share, I thought that first day offers were only high pressure techniques and not legitimate offers. However, they are high pressure techniques but they are legitimate offers. The first day time share incentives helps customers who might otherwise delay their decision, to make a decision. The sales managers said there was no such thing as a "BE BACK CUSTOMER." I have never had a customer who said they would be back ever come back. The sales managers were right.

The developer is depending on strong salespeople who can close at least one out of ten customers. So, the resorts have to offer strong incentives to make a purchase on the first visit.

So, each customer for a new time share week , has to determine in his own mind whether the value of the first day incentives to make a first day purchase is worth it. Here are some ideas on what should be included:

1. A substantial Discount should be offered.

2. Payment of Interval Internationals or RCI's membership fee for at least one year one or more years.

3. Payment of the next years maintenance fee's.

4. A Free weekend or overnight stay at the resort. This is done to entice the customer to purchase a time share week .

NOTE: Many time share resorts are now under State and Federal guidelines and must not offer first day incentives to customers who return later and want the benefits of first day buyers. So, first day time share offers are in most cases a valid offer.
