My time share experiences can save you a lot of money!

Our first time share vacation in 2002 over looking "Lake of the Ozarks".

Hello, My name is Cary Johnson. Our personal time share experiences should help you make an intelligent decision about a possible purchase. The recommendations in this website will be on the purchase of Internet advertised re-sale timeshare properties from private parties willing to sell.

Minnesota has only a handful of vacation ownership resorts as compared to high destination areas in states such as Florida or the West coast.

1984 was my first introduction to Camp Coast-to-Coast and Vacation Ownership at Breezy Point International. These concepts were new to most Minnesota residents. The resort offered many vacation amenities, and both concepts were added to expand the opportunities for vacations in Northern Minnesota.

These were exciting times. Breezy Point International had no competition. We had upwards of 80 sales people selling at one time. Some sales people were selling condos, while others were selling Camp Coast-to-Coast. As many as 200 or more prospective customers a day were coming for a "gift" and a presentation. I worked there for serveral years.

The next project to open was at "Quadna Mountain" at Hill City, Minnesota. It is now known as "Quadna-Resort".It was another combination Camp Coast-to-Coast and Vacation Ownership resort. This time share resort is straight north of Minneapolis, Minnesota on Hwy #169. The resort's appeal was the year-around recreation availability; the lake, skiing, and golfing.

Quadna Resort was not listed in the Interval International directory until recently. It is not rated as a 5 star resort. As of March 4, 2008, we would not be interested into exchanging into this once pristine resort. This is our personal opinion.

About a year later,1986 I was asked to return to Breezy Point International and work with their Vacation Ownership program.

In 1997, after having left the resort industry for other opportunities,I received a call from two friends and former sales associates about a new resort opening on Lake Mille Lacs which is located 90 miles north of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

A few things appealed to me instantly. The project was new, and Mille Lacs was known as the "Walleye"lake. Only a couple of vacation units had been built. Because of its location, it was easy for prospective customers to drive to the resort. Most of the customers came from Minneapolis or St.Paul, just 90 miles south of Lake Mille Lacs.

I worked at "The Village at Izaty's" until shortly after 9/11 when sales of time shares started to decline. It was time to retire. Prior to retiring however, my wife and I took ownership of our first deeded timeshare week at The Village at Izaty's.

We purchased our 2nd deeded week via the Internet, while I was still employed at the Village at Izaty's and we saved over $18,000 compared to purchasing a similar unit at the resort where I was working prior to retiring.

We can show YOU how YOU can do it also!
