Treetops Village At Four Seasons, Missouri

Treetops Village at Four Seasons, Four Seasons, Missouri was our first experience with a timeshare vacation trade in 1998. We used our two bedroom 5 Star resort Village at Izatys Onamia, Minnesota timeshare for the exchange through the Interval International exchange system.

We didn't know what to expect since this was our first exchange. The distance was only a day's drive, so we drove from Minnesota to Four Seasons, Missouri.

At the time of the exchange we only had one timeshare property, a deeded week at the Village at Izatyswhich was purchased from a re-sale customer for less than $10. The customer had paid $8,800 for the timeshare in 1997 but had not used it, so, for personal reasons, he wanted to transfer it for a very nominal paperwork fee. What a bargain!

With some anxiety but excitement, we checked into the office and found the staff to be very efficient and friendly. We were then given the keys to our very first timeshare unit.

It was a two-story, circular timeshare house which was built on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Ozark. With windows all around the unit and an 18 hole golf course up the hill behind us, we had brought the outside world right into our unit. Looking out from the dining area and kitchen, we could see Lake Ozark.

The resort is a 5 Star Rated Interval International Affiliated resort with tennis courts, three seasonal outdoor pools, and one indoor pool. The next time we exchange to Treetops, we plan to drive our Suzuki Burgman Scooter rather than the car. With the conveniences of everything a person needs to live there for a week, including a washer and dryer, we now know that all we need to pack is clothing and toiletries.

The only drawback, for older people, is that the circular timeshare units are built on a hill. To reach the upper part of the unit with suitcases and groceries, one must climb a set of stairs. However, this is a top notch resort run by a great board of directors who manage the resort.

After returning home from this vacation, we found a Tree Tops owner who was interested in selling a unit he had owned there for 20 years. We purchased a prime summer week for $3,000. What a bargain for a summer week!

We highly recommend this resort for a great place to have a Timeshare Exchange vacation.
